Yes, this sounds right up Sister Peggy Noonan's intravenous alley.

I feel a bit drunk just reading that.

Mmmmmm, yummy egg whites. Seriously, this sounds good. If you don't feel like shelling out for Cointreau (delicious Cointreau), try Patron Citronge orange liqueur. Much better than triple sec; if not as good as Cointreau, it's certainly more affordable. It's something like $16 or so at Trader Joe's.

I'm pretty sure that's against the law in most Bibble belt states

A <a href="https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Pisco_Sour" target="_blank">Pisco Sour</a> is a pretty nice egg white drink too.

Is this something like an egg cream for grown-ups?

Won't the little buggers be all disoriented from the shaking? And then finished off by the ethanol?

Also, and even more so, a maracuya sour - basically, a pisco sour with passion fruit juice instead of lime juice.

If you're paranoid, you can now get pasteurized eggs, which work just fine for things like this.

Hmmm, looks like good ole BevMo carries it. Thanks, RevZafod! I'll check it out.
