Sadly amongst the reality Tv wannabes, yes."Let you and him fight over me." Is considered to be an aphrodisiac.

“Jason Mariner, who is pro-insurrection and has Confederate flag tattoos.”

“ He’s been convicted of felony theft, cocaine possession, and obstructing justice. His ex-wife had previously accused him of kidnapping and assault.”

You gotta admit, it’d be impossible to find a more accurate representative of Florida.

You go, SCMcC. Stories like this help keep me going, despite all the fools and grifters. (And thank goddess I don't live in Florida, much as I love Carl Hiaasen and the local wildlife.)

That's not always the case: https://www.theguardian.com...

Following a campaign promising bold climate action, president-elect Joe Biden’s transition team named one of the Democratic Party’s top recipients of fossil fuel industry money to a high-profile White House position focusing in part on climate issues. On Tuesday, Politico reported that Biden is appointing US Rep. Cedric Richmond (D-LA) to lead the White House Office of Public Engagement, where he is “expected to serve as a liaison with the business community and climate change activists.”

Last time I saw "mom" was in The Moron State. Her mom went there to die, and she followed her. "Mom" complained to me that her kids never came to visit: I'm in NoCal, my brother is in San Diego, sister is in Maine. They could not have moved further from us and stay on the US America continent. I said to "mom", after her lament: "Eustice mom? Really?"She daid now and the world is a better place.I would like to see the Keys though. Just once.

I've heard if you play your hippity hop too loud you can also get shot at and murdered. Sounds like a great place to visit!

Buffet's actually from Pascagoula, Mississippi, but that's close enough to the Alabama state line that it doesn't make enough of a difference to argue. LOL

In re Hiaasen, two words: Squeeze Me.

Any book which has the thinly disguised TFG living in an estate called "Casa Bellicosa" gets three stars just for that alone.

As I have pointed out before the DCCC is a bonified criminal organisation, emant to contrinue to seat moderate and conservaiutes Dems and work as hard as possible agaiunst liberals and progressives.

When people talk about Pelose being a progressive, remember that she vociferously worked against AO-C and to help continue the reign of the moderate NYC Democrartic machine. Unfortunately for them, the PEOPLE (for once) had a different idea.
