The wait is over! After weeks of breathless anticipation (and one titillating Twitter rumor ), Georgia Rep. Paul Broun has announced he is running for United States Senate , after an illustrious, storied career in the House that has lasted all of five years, and a chunk of a sixth.
"It wouldn't have any impact on government"
So, like the House of Lords, but also very unlike the House of Lords, which is much like the Senate in that it can originate bills (no matter <a href="http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Digital_Economy_Act_2010" target="_blank">how awful</a>) as long as they&#039;re not revenue bills.
My comparison was more about the large number of oddballs or cranks who by lineage are permitted a platform for their ideas. But you&#039;re quite right about the august body and my idea should be more like a fancy soap box, fancy enough that troublemakers are shunted to it rather than Congress.
In any event I&#039;m still for sending these people to American Samoa. Or Thule, Greenland.
If that esteemed member of the House Committee on Science and Techmology were a Catholic, he could have his previous marital errors rectified through <strike>generous contributions to the archbishop</strike> annulments. But alas, he&#039;s a Southern (slavery-loving) Baptist.
Lazy-assed union deer, waiting for a salt handout? Not while Broun is running the show!
Anything but &quot;Senator&quot;.
Broun makes <u>both</u> Lester Maddox and his axe handle seem positively brilliant.
fify -- or maybe just clarified it.
That alone is almost enough to make up for everything else.
I can bring you our standard contract.
Run, She1y, run!
*DISCLAIMER*: Due to Senate seniority protocols, Paul Broun will not be leading anyone at anything for several years at least, if ever, if elected.
There&#039;s always one-l.
Bye bye sweet caress I feel like I could die

Or Ted Williams&#039; frozen <a href="http:\/\/www.nydailynews.com\/news\/national\/ted-williams-frozen-head-batting-practice-cryogenics-lab-book-article-1.381985" target="_blank">head</a>.

Perhaps wives 1-3 are dead?

That is one fine link, SBot, at least on Chrome/Windows 7.
Who knew PPP was back to using Hollerith card images?
I see several vastly more qualified candidates back there.
