If anything these republicans are unoriginal, copying the same things prissy parents were yammering on about in the 1970’s to control kids. My paranoid, conservative adopted mother forbade me to watch Six Million Dollar Man and Wonder Woman because she said I might try and do some of the things they did on the show. She surely would have prohibited viewing of a show featuring a gay or transgender character because well, I might copy the characters. It’s like these republican minds know that they are trying to influence children’s behaviours and are at war with anything that opposes and weakens their programming. Yes this is it in a nutshell.
It's a good thing they never got around to watching "Steven Universe" a series about a young boy who may or may not be his own mother, and lives in a society of women warriors.
It's never not embarrassing when I see one of my home state's congressional delegation in an article. Just once, I'd like to see that one of them did something good, or said something sane. Hell, even MTG and Ted Cruz have done that.
