Mini Rant of the Day. I wanna make one thing perfectly clear. I don't hate the South. I have lived there as a poor person so I do have opinions. Strong opinions. However, this AL bs, and others like it, or worse, is simply a result of ideologies that have gone on for over 400 years. Business as usual.

I have relatives in MS that were able to buy a big house about 50 years ago, and love the low standard of living. They shit when they come to CA. Sticker shock for a whole state. But even they say things could be a lot better, and the best thing about MS is the Casino, owned by Native Americans.
