If the mental gymnastics executed at last night's Republican convention finale taught us anything at all about the kind of people who support Donald Trump, it would be these three things: 1. Their highest priority, above literally anything else they hold dear, is to be complimented. You can literally tell them anything, so long as you follow it up with "AND YOU ARE WONDERFUL AND SPECIAL AND WE LOVE YOU."
I think it's because that one guy who was conflicted about being gay so he scoped out a gay club and shot a lot of gay people credited Isis at the last minute, therefore persecuting all the Muslims is good for the lgbtqia community. After all, no one ever did a bad thing to homosexuals besides that.
Here is the Latino Victory Fund poll including all days of RNC convention. Poll is Latino (self-identified?) RVs. Some questions are somewhat leading/push. But it's easy to see that there is absolutely NO GOOD NEWS for Trump and Republicans in this poll.
Some highlights (to me); lowlights (to them):- vote for Trump: 15%; Clinton: 75% (Q4)- think Republicans agree with Trump on [issue]: Yes: ~40%; No: ~60&- (Trump keeps saying Hispanics will love him) do you love Donald Trump? Yes: 12%; No: 88% (Q20)- did convention motivate you to vote: Yes: 72%; No: 28% (Q36)
Re: Kasisch ( sp?) was being vetted by Trump for VP but turned offer down ( along with half a dozen others) was told by Trump that he (VP) would be responsible for domestic policy and foreign policy. I'm not kidding- you can't make this up. So Kasisch says: what will you be doing? ( as I understand this- the two are jointly exhaustive- there are no issues that aren't domestic or foreign) Trump replies: I'll be making America great again
Question: is this constitutional- can the Pres farm out the job?
Uh, ya- a human being would be an improvement. The sad thing is that conservatism deserves a messenger ( I am a neo-con) and to have this buffoon carrying the standard insults the movement (as US evangelists insult Christianity)
I think a lot of the dead-enders aren't even Dems. They're Libertarians who thought that Bernie came the closest to their ideals.Party loyalty and the down ticket races mean nothing to them.I am constantly surprised by female die-hards that will waste their vote, (if they vote), and let the GOP decide what to do with their bodies. (But it's OK. Some of us will be there to protect their rights, cause Trump is gonna lose.)
Extreme conservatives do seem to operate from deep within their reptilian brain fear centers. Instead of the kind and gentle elephant they should have the crocodile as their spirit animal.
I think the job you're looking for is consiltant. Bigger check.
I think it should be those goats that faint if you startle them
These are the same people that oppose raising taxes on the top 1% because they either think they are the top 1%, or they one day will be.
What always bothers me most is the guy making $500k KNOWS he's not the top 1%, so just how far down the income ladder are these morons.

Why yes. Yes, that is exactly what it is.
GOTV!Make Trump the biglyest/yuuuuugest LOSER of all time.

And I bet you're even ELITIST enough to let "the gays" have some too. 😉
The gheys have high cake standards, but they are notoriously generous as a people...

Well said Robyn.
Does that list include the Mommy vs. Daddy party theory?(Discus won't let me go back and forth.)
