It seems this groomer nonsense took off right around the same time the SBC released a report on the hundreds of sex crimes they covered-up. Add Josh Dugger getting sent away for child porn crimes and it seems more and more this is an exercise in both projection and distraction.

IMO, there is a serious risk this ultimately hurts prosecutions. A good defense attorney (granted, most defendants won't have one) will turn this process on its head to create doubt. I understand the intent of protecting child victims, which is absolutely necessary, but every person on the team and/or in the interview room is a witness at trial and too many chefs, so to speak, spoil the burden. I would lean much more into better training for agents on the front end vice so much direct involvement in individual cases.
