This guy is really crazy, like y'all don't know that already. I hope he isn't dangerous too.

I’d bet the funny farm Trump and plenty of his goofy campaign trolls are toying with the idea of swapping Vance for RFK Jr. Trump now knows RFK is for sale, and Trump is nothing if not a manipulator of needy people who have no principles. I’m betting Trump regrets Vance, who seems pretty invisible lately, and thinks the Kennedy name is his best chance to beat Harris. He won’t be satisfied with just his endorsement. He wants RFK to do some heavy lifting to bring his 3-4% independent/undecided/libertarian/unaffiliated free-range weirdos with him. It will be interesting to see what they do with RFK Jr, but I don’t think we’ve seen the last of him in this election. I’m betting they announce RFK is Vance’s understudy, then Vance pulls a hammy and RFK gets the role.

I too believe that RFK, Jr. is trying to worm his way into the VP slot!

It’s become clear that RFK jr is probably more than just a crank, he’s quite possibly dealing with psychological or cognitive issues. Being an independent doesn’t mean to peddle your allegiance to the party that offers you the sweetest deal.

I’m a little surprised (I know I shouldn’t be) that the media are writing stories about “how will RFK’s support affect the election?” Why aren’t they writing about how utterly ridiculous it is for a person who was actually polling around 3-4% of the vote (an astoundingly high figure given RFK Jr’s record and recent bizarre revelations) to claim to be the independent solution to an impossible choice, only to contact both parties and offer his support in exchange for a job. He’s a crank, at least, so I get it. We are sorta past wondering what makes RFK tick, but it’s still another grubby indictment on the current state of American politics that the third highest polling candidate is for sale, with no real deeply held principles at all. Had Harris taken his call, and offered a job in the health department sector or some policy research job where he couldn’t cause any serious harm, he’d have endorsed Harris and the democratic ticket? Instead, having been offered a job by neither party, he threw in with the only candidate who took his call, discussing the huge horse vaccines America is supposedly forcing kids to take. It’s absurd.

So much of what is happening feels like a farce. Pray America hasn’t entirely lost its damn mind.

So, what was the quid pro quo for the endorsement? Will RFKJ get to be FDA commissioner? Head up the CDC? There are so many ways he could help Trump fuck things up.

Both my kids seem perfectly lovely, where did Robert Kennedy go wrong?

Why does everyone keep obsessing about the brain worm? OK, I get that it gets laffs, but the brain worm is dead and not clinically relevant. On the other hand, can someone need to get chelated for mercury poisoning and not have neuropathy? Remember the phrase "Mad as a hatter?" I think it fits!

RFJJr said that people have to love their children more than they hate each other, but progressives are a lost cause. Dems are a party of bitter, childless they/thems that worship Planned Parenthood- you all hate children as much as you hate Republicans.

Dems to RFK Jr.: “Put your shoes back on and go back to wherever the heck you claim to be living these days.”

Can just one journalist ask him and Trump what their actual plan is on Ukraine, except ending the war immediately? Make them give som details? It infuriates me.

Those two aren’t exactly “details” guys. They’re more like “firehose of lies” guys.

I will say though... rate my Zoom thumbs up!

Gotta give him points for being so devoid of principles that he approached both campaigns, who could not be further apart philosophically, looking for an endorsement quid pro quo. Shamelessly craven while being sensationally venal. Yep, his Dad and uncles would be abhorrent

The answer to the quiz question is: The entire brain.

But seriously, who has a higher probability of kicking the bucket BEFORE the election?

Trump! So he may be able to WORM his way into being the GOP candidate if that happens!

The reaction from the freaks who pass as right-wing "intellectuals" has been hilarious. Roger Kimball: "Kennedy’s indictment of his former party, along with his endorsement of Donald Trump, has sent shock waves through the chambers of the self-appointed elite who would rule us."

Those were aftershocks from the minor LA earthquake, Rog. Sorry you soiled yourself.

But the real hammerblows came from eminent constitutional law expert (in his own mind) Jonathan Turley:

"Kennedy said that the Democratic Party has virtually shoved him and other voters into the arms of Donald Trump and the Republican Party. Kennedy’s departure from the Democrats has been mocked in the press. However, when he spoke on his withdrawal, many of us who have been lifetime members of the party identified with his remarks."

"Lifelong Democrat" Turley called Hillary "the Democratic Party Nixon", and appeared as a pro-Trump witness in the first House impeachment inquiry. He is a frequent guest on Fox News and often writes op-eds for the Murdoch propaganda websites.
