I believe the term "Democrat Party" was started by Sen Robert Taft (R-OH) (though it may have been earlier). It disappeared for years, then began to show up again. Bill Buckley was asked about it and said something like "Why would you use a noun when you had a perfectly good adjective?" Nevertheless, it seems to be common now.
Also, The Minnesota Republic, for which apparently this twerp makes word salad, is the most pathetic rag you can imagine. Birds wouldn't admit it as a cage lining.
