Great. Ask him if you can test fit the walker and/or wheelchair and your mother. I think those of us who want a station wagon but don't want an SUV or a Mercedes/BMW/Audi wagon will find these little wagons, Kia, Nissan and Toyota a good fit. Good luck.
Thanks for your observation. I'm thinking about getting one. I have to drive my mother everywhere and at any time she has either a walker or a wheelchair that has to be accommodated. Seems like that would be easier in a Soul than many other cars. My neighbor has one and he likes his a lot.
My first Mercedes in the USA (300 D) was an in-line 5. It had 100K miles on it when I bought it and about 270+ when I sold it. That car, and the engine, was built like a tank. I have seen a few in Seattle and Vancouver. Still going strong.

My mom is on her 2nd Prius. Mine (my first) is in the shop due to deerstrike. Before the Prius I drove a manual Honda Civic hybrid. I drive a lot for my job, no company car. My only complaint with the Prius is the smaller tank. I get great gas mileage, but I drive so much I still have to fill up a lot.

The Mrs wants an electric Soul. I've done some research and a few test fittings/drives. It is a mighty fine little car.
