Robert Mueller Just Now Getting To The Fun Part Of His Investigation

Happy Friday, it is indictment/resignation o' clock, and we are just wondering what combination of those is going to happen today! But while we breathlessly anticipate that, there's yet another story in the Robert Mueller Is Now Doing This genre to add to our file:
Special counsel Robert Mueller is assembling a case for criminal charges against Russians who carried out the hacking and leaking of private information designed to hurt Democrats in the 2016 election, multiple current and former government officials familiar with the matter tell NBC News.
Much like the indictment Mueller filed last month charging a different group of Russians in a social media trolling and illegal-ad-buying scheme, the possible new charges are expected to rely heavily on secret intelligence gathered by the CIA, the FBI, the National Security Agency (NSA) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), several of the officials say. Sources sayhe has long had sufficient evidence to make a case,but strategic issues could dictate the timing. Potential charges include violations of statutes on conspiracy, election law as well as the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. One U.S. official briefed on the matter said the charges are not imminent, but other knowledgeable sources said they are expected in the next few weeks or months.

To briefly recap, this week, we have learned that Mueller is doing the following enjoyable activities:
Taking a very careful look at Donald Trump's Russian activities in the months and years directly before he decided/was instructed to run for president, going back to the Moscow Miss Universe pageant in 2013, all the way into the campaign, specifically surrounding the failed Moscow Trump Tower project. We personally believe this is, on a very meta level, the bull's eye of the entire conspiracy. (Also, Mueller just might have stumbled onto a certain PEE TAPE!)
Asking specific questions about what Donald Trump knew about the Hillary Clinton/DNC emails Russia hacked and laundered through front operations like WikiLeaks, and when did he know it. This is, on a micro level, the essence of "NO COLLUSION, NO COLLUSION, YOU ARE THE COLLUSION."
Oh by the way, he's still working to nail Trump as hard as possible on obstruction of justice, looking at the president's attempts to fire Attorney General Jeff Sessions last summer, because President Dick Baby was (and still is) infuriated Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation.
Brick by brick by brick. That is how Mueller is building his case. He is building a big beautiful brick house, and when it is done, it could literally be the Big House for Donald Trump and nobody will be able to huff and puff and blow it all down.
So now we have this leak that sometime -- maybe today, maybe next week, maybe sometime in May when the weather is fine -- Mueller is going to drop some indictments on the Russians who participated in the hacks into the DNC and the Hillary Clinton campaign. And Donald Trump will stomp his feet and clap his hands and bitch and moan, because Mueller refuses to interview all the 400-pounders of New Jersey to see if they are the real hacker, because Mueller knows the Russians are the hackers, and that they did it to help get Trump elected.
Will the Russians go to jail? Nah probably not, unless they are dumb enough to try to travel to a country the United States has an extradition agreement with, but that's not the point. He's building this case in such a way as to make it very easy for the members of the Republican party who are still patriots deep down in their hearts to vote to impeach Trump when Mueller gets to the grand finale. That's what's going on here.
And Mueller is nowhere near done. Like we said in the headline, he's just now getting to the GOOD PART.
