sorry to hear that...i'm not a psychiatrist, but i worked in the mental health field for the past 18 yrs...if you are taking any type of other anti-anxiety or anti-depressant, or even benzos, i would strongly recommend you reconsider the chantix...a rather grim joke around the mfp house is that we think ray liotta should have kept smoking

let me relate my first experience with chantix...it was, strangely enough, not with clients, but with 3 of my lady co-workers who decided to quit smoking and all went on chantix at the same time...within a week, they all would come to work complaining of the anxiety and motor skill issues that you are experiencing, and delirous-type dreams

within 2 weeks, they were all complaining of horrible nightmares and at least one of them even mentioned to me of having a hard time distinguishing between if she was at work or just dreaming she was at work...they all felt a revulsion to cigarettes, but they also all felt like they were losing control, and quickly..it was quite obvious to me and others that they were out of sorts, to put it mildly....the more they compared their reactions, the more certain they were that the side efx were not worth it, and they all stopped taking chantix in less than a month

we were then all convinced that none of our clients should ever be put on it (they werent/arent) and anytime one of them wants to try to quit smoking, they're always prescribed the nicotine patch, even if they request chantix (because, youknow--tv ads)

YMMV, of course, and good luck...but be aware, and take care of yourself

"I could never get away with a certain [sic] my Fifth Amendment rights..."

I don't know if I can even explain how much this kind of moneyed ignorance insults my intelligence.
