Moving individuals to nursing homes was done to alleviate the crush of patients that were being encountered in the Tri-State area and the need for acute care beds.
Yes - this was an executive decision that was made to deal with an completely unknown situation. Posting this at every turn on the internet doesn't absolve Dear Leader in his abysmal handling and the deaths of 150K due to his administration's mismanagement of everything.
