Translation: "Targeting white people for accusations of racism just because they support policies that harm people of color has no place in the state of Florida."
This is a new tradition that I fully support. Let him be booed constantly, no matter where he is or what he is doing. Night on the town with his wife? Boo that fucker. Campaigning? Boo that fucker. Strangling teen girls or puppies down by the river? Boo that fucker. Shopping? Boo that fucker.
He should especially be booed in circumstances that make him “smile”, as the humanoids call it. That terrifying rictus reflex should probably be killed with fire but booing will have to do.
It's like former Michigan Governor Rick Snyder getting booed at a restaurant at the height of the Flint water crisis when all he wanted to do was take his wife out to a nice dinner on her birthday. Some incivility ensued.
What an incredible display of hypocrisy....if he wasn't so far down in the polls and a national laughingstock, I would call it a foretaste of his administration...one in which Old Glory will be replaced as the national flag by the Stars and Bars.

One thing I've started to notice about DeSantis is that he has a very loud tone that he seldom seems to stray from. The word that comes to my mind is "braying."
I wonder if that stems from his time in the Marines, where yelling is probably considered "command presence," or some such thing.
A voice like that is useful for talking over people and addressing subordinates, especially when you don't respect them much. But it doesn't help him overcome his image as an unfeeling talking-points bot.

I agree--that is the issue. Reminds me of When Obama pardoned criminals who harmed the US--this kind of crap is not gracious--it actually harms the body politic and victims as well. You can't absolve people from a crime or wrongdoing committed against someone else--only that wronged person can give absolution. Stepping in when someone is getting just desserts for their actions helps no one, not even the guilty party.
