Use this bullshit against them and hire only minorities and LGBTQ...they can't sue if there are no more "protected" statuses, "white" can't be a "protected" statues either...just say they're the best people for the jobs...

a creative city drone will almost certainly try and use that "no climate shit" law to justify electric vehicle purchases. "I can't buy gas-powered lawnmowers, because that would be in violation of the 'based solely on the types or sources of fuel used by' clause".

Now write the same legislation, only substitute religion ( &/or Christian) with DEI , etc

All these laws are suppression of the First Amendment

shouldn't cost to to operate as a consideration make the prohibition on making decisions based on fuel type moot?

Reminder: It's only a witch hunt when Democrats are doing nothing of the sort.

If this bill were the plot of a Scooby-Doo and The Harlem Globetrotters episode, it would be discarded as too cartoonish.

Absolutely clownish fucking villains.

Do Florida businesses not like money? Because this is how you stop making money.

St. Petersburgs Pride Parade makes me proud I was born and raised in St. Pete. But, when I remember DeSantis was born in Dunedin, just a few miles north, I get sad.

Tough situation for FL human beings. Stay and fight, an uphill battle where the other side officially hates you. Or move elsewhere, which even if you can afford it feels like letting the assholes win. My heart goes out to any FL Wonketeers, and your family and friends.

Wen I lived in Tangipahoa Parish in Louisiana I once had to go to the courthouse to get a copy of a recorded deed. In order to receive the official copy I had to go into a private office where a woman sat completely surrounded by Christian iconography and a printer. There were Christian statuettes, plaques, magnets, framed artwork on every inch of her desk, and on every wall, and lots of pictures of Jesus, Praying Hands, crosses, etc.

This was a government office I was required to enter.

I thought about filing a complaint, but...nah, it's Louisiana, it would go nowhere, I'd get into the news and probably be fired and have to contact the ACLU or fork out lots of dough for an attorney. So I didn't. But I haven't forgotten it.
