As a California Old, I remember more Ronnie that you whippersnappers do. We had his face on TV for eight years as governor (before he declined to run for a third term which was doable then) before we got that face on TV for eight more as President. Thing was, he was an actor, and he had a pleasant voice, and he knew how to not sound like an ass with a whiny Canadian accent, and that's just one of the ways Cruz is not Reagan.
