Sex wizard Gross weird New York Times social conservative Catholic neckbeard writer person Ross Douthat has thoughts, and they are about sex, and conservatives, and how conservatives can fuck WAY MORE than liberals, due to how they are all jizz-sploding libido machines who fuck real good:
Douthat has the weird obsessive enthusiasm of the convert in his politics as well as in his faith. I find it both fascinating and creepy that when he converted to Catholicism (after having previously converted to Pentacostalism, leaping in at the deep end), he took his whole family with him, like it was a kind of Disneyland for the immortal soul.
Cradle Catholics are different. Some of them have God, some don't, some of them have left the Church, some haven't, but their relationship to the Church simply IS. Converts, by contrast, are driven into the Church by, well, God only knows what: and sometimes it is a sincere matter of faith--but sometimes, it's something right weird.
I don't know how Douthat came to Catholicism, but after reading his book about how we became a nation of heretics and many of his NYT editorials, it is my opinion that he thinks he is more Catholic than the Pope. He really needs to read up on religion as a whole as I have for the last 50 years.
He was a marvelous Heathcliff. I didn't care for his costar, Anna Calder-Marshall, though, I thought she was mis-cast. I was glad to see him on Doctor Who, although the problem there was that I had eyes only for him and stopped listening to the dialogue in his scenes, so that might have been a mistake in casting as well. I had the same problem with his James Bond movies, but missing dialogue in a 007 movie is not a major issue, since I don't watch them for great dialogue or story lines. And yes, he is still hot, I am venting steam even as I write this!
The Beautician and the Beast, however, was a mistake.
Not a good idea. When you have a totally shapeless, doughy melon such as this fine specimen, it's better to keep it covered, even if it is under a filthy threadbare carpet.
Conservative Catholicism appeals to snobby reactionaries who would be embarrassed to speak in tongues or do something similarly "lowbrow". It's respectable wingnuttery.

If Ross needs the help I would be more than happy to teach him how shave. I think starting with a straight razor might be a good idea.
He's wasn't even supposed to be there that day!
I tip my fadora to you

Pathetic liberal libido!
Compared to ... Roger Moore? Yes. Compared to Sean Connery? Sad! 😖
Now I'm worried about MY weak libido. I wasn't turned on! Suppose I'm subnormal.
