Rove Goes Back on His Word
According to this week's Newsweek, Karl Rove would have us believe that he made a huge miscalculation. No, not picking W over Jeb. Remember how he said 2004 would be his last presidential race? Well, he tells, Newsweek, "A lot of people in the White House told me that that was a really stupid thing to say." So nice of them to speak up now. Where are these people when Rove is off making up shit about Democrats banning the Bible? In any case, now pressed, Rove clarifies: "[L]et me say that I can't imagine spending two years away from my wife and son again, the way I did this time." Right. He'll have to eat them. You'd think he'd have thought of that before.
