Russia All Up In Trump Racists' Facebooks, Inviting Them To Racism Sex Orgies!

Wonkette has written previously about the town of Twin Falls, Idaho, which is welcoming to refugees from Syria and other places in ways racist, xenophobic Idahoan bigots find very disturbing . Indeed, if you click on that last link, from June of 2016, you'll see that rightwing websites were having a TIZZY over marauding Syrian refugees descending upon Twin Falls and raping little girls. Of course, none of that happened, but that didn't stop their TIZZY. You see, they believed there was a #conspiracy being led by Big Yogurt, because Chobani was bringing refugee rapists to Idaho, to steal American jobs and replace them with disease and rape. (Chobani even ended up suing Alex Jones, who eventually finally apologized to yogurt. )

Turns out the Russians were reading those rightwing blogs! Even more than that, the Russians (probably the GRU, AKA military intelligence, if we had to hazard a wild guess) decided to act on that hysteria, as part of their campaign to fuck the election against Hillary Clinton and in favor of Donald Trump. (You'll remember that in May of 2016, a GRU dude was picked up in routine eavesdropping bragging about how Russia was about to fuck up Hillary's election chances. Also, in June of 2016, the Russians met with Donald Trump Jr. in Trump Tower, also as "part of the Russian government's support" for his daddy. Alllllll the Russian helps for Trump last year!)

The Daily Beast has an exclusive report of how Russians created Facebook events, targeted at likely racist Trump voters, in order to get those dumb waddle monsters to hit the streets with their anti-immigrant hysteria, all while Trump was out campaigning on a platform of anti-immigrant hysteria:

Russian operatives hiding behind false identities used Facebook’s event management tool to remotely organize and promote political protests in the U.S., including an August 2016 anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim rally in Idaho, The Daily Beast has learned. [...]

The Facebook events—one of which echoed Islamophobic conspiracy theories pushed by pro-Trump media outlets—are the first indication that the Kremlin’s attempts to shape America’s political discourse moved beyond fake news and led unwitting Americans into specific real-life action.

“This is the next step,” Clint Watts, a former FBI agent and expert on Russia’s influence campaign, told The Daily Beast. “The objective of influence is to create behavior change. The simplest behavior is to have someone disseminate propaganda that Russia created and seeded. The second part of behavior influence is when you can get people to physically do something.”

DAMN. The Daily Beast quotes the event page, which included the following text:

“Due to the town of Twin Falls, Idaho, becoming a center of refugee resettlement, which led to the huge upsurge of violence towards American citizens, it is crucial to draw society's attention to this problem ... "

DAMN.

Just ... DAMN.

The event host was called "SecuredBorders," and it was a Russian front. On top of the Alex Jones exclusives on the Great Idaho Refugee Yogurt Rapes that led up to the event, the Daily Beast notes that Dead Breitbart also wrote many "news" blog posts about the Idaho situation. Dead Breitbart has not yet apologized to yogurt.

NOW do people see why Robert Mueller is investigating Breitbart and InfoWars and looking into Russian bots and Russian military intelligence buying Facebook ads and all that hullabaloo? Because shit is real and an enemy nation literally was (and is) all up in our American business, inciting far right racists and pushing fake Hillary news to Bernie supporters, to sow loathing (it worked!) and install their puppet in the White House.

In related news, the FBI is reportedly investigating the Russian state-owned Sputnik media organization, to see if it was working directly for the Kremlin as part of Russia's disinformation campaign during the election. We have a feeling we are just barely starting to scratch the surface of the Russian digital operation that helped sway the election in the unqualified orange fuckseed's direction.

Of course, Mueller is also probing First Son-In-Law Prince Jared Kushner's role in the Trump-Russia conspiracy. Kushner oversaw the Trump campaign's digital operation, and he met with a metric shitload of Russians during the campaign and the transition too. How odd! Wonder if that has anything to do with why some of Donald Trump's lawyers reportedly wanted Kushner to quit his White House job because of his role in the Russia investigation.

Is it possible these things are all connected?

We sure are glad politicians like GOP Reps. Devin Nunes and Trey Gowdy and Senator Chuck Grassley are out there working their tiny dicks off to protect the president Russia elected, instead of, you know, being fucking patriots.
