I've been fortunate in regard to male role models and my husband is better than I deserve, but I cannot name another man whom I love as much as I loved and respected my maternal grandfather. The impact he had upon my life was enormous; Poppy was one of the best teachers that I ever had.
Believe that was the DoD Police, though there are armed contractors working for all 3 branches. At the Pentagon, I think contractors do Pass and ID for visitors, not LE.
