My brother-in-law is a Vietnam veteran who is on 100% disability from the VA. His war injury? PTSD - 100%. He was (apparently) in combat, but was never physically wounded.
Now, I've seen him when the VA isn't looking. His true disability is a much, much smaller percentage. Much smaller.
So he gets a substantial amount of money each month. All medical and dental treatment courtesy the VA & taxpayers. Of course he hates people on welfare and government hand outs. A Palinista, no doubt.
