To the absolute horror of the teabaggers who supported his longshot run for Ted Kennedy's old Senate seat, Scott Brown has turned out to be a pretty decent and fair-minded guy, and apparently has no qualms about voting for what he thinks is the right thing, regardless of party. Today we learn that he was savagely beaten by a series of asshole "stepfathers" and also sexually molested, repeatedly, by a camp counselor who threatened to kill 10-year-old Scott Brown if he ever revealed the assaults.

I still have a little. If any Republican luminary has anything to say about this, it will inevitably be that sexual abuse of children is a product of the liberal mind, the anti-traditionalist mentality, and the "other" among us. Christians, conservatives, and those with family values are righteous, or at worst, they are occasionally fallible but redeemed.
Mostly, though I expect they won't have anything to say about this.
