Scuzzbag Texas A.G. Ken Paxton In Big Trouble Mister (Again!)

UH OH SKETTI-O SOMEBODY IS IN TROUBLE AGAIN. Even more trouble, actually:

Federal securities regulators filed civil fraud charges Monday against Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton over recruiting investors to a high-tech startup before becoming the state's top prosecutor.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filed the lawsuit against Paxton and former executives of Servergy Inc. Paxton is already under felony criminal indictment in Texas over allegations that he defrauded wealthy investors in the company in 2011. [...]

Paxton, a Republican, has pleaded not guilty to the criminal charges and has repeatedly said he won't resign. If convicted of the criminal charges, he could face five to 99 years in prison. [...]

The lawsuit filed in federal court in North Texas accuses Paxton of helping raise $840,000 for Servergy and being paid in the form of 100,000 shares of Servergy common stock. Regulators accuse Paxton of not telling investors of his arrangement with the company.

WUH-WOH SAD TROMBONE! Just foolin', this guy is a grade-A fuckbag. The company might have been even fuckbaggier: basically, the company president was like "hey, rich investor folk, invest in these super-duper high-tech computer servers, they are so cutting edge!" And then he went and stocked up on them at Radio Shack.

This is the same thing, but the civil, federal version as opposed to the criminal investigation that led to his indictment last year. His appeals on the criminal thing will be taken up in May.

And hey, Wonkette believes in innocent until proven guilty, even if people are grade-A fuckbags. But let's just say that if he IS guilty, we will not be sad to watch him go away.

And as the JoeMyGod blogotubes website points out, Paxton is also   under investigation in the ethics violation sort of way, because he told county clerks to disobey that SCOTUS ruling.

Because then what would happen? Uh obviously ladies would get slut pills and didn't we just say religious employers say that's a sin?

The point is fuck Ken Paxton, and we sure do mightily hope justice is served REAL good for him, REAL soon.
