Honestly, and I find this is NOT spoken of NEARLY enough - IT IS NOT EASY TO LEAVE IT. Like, I was pregnant when he was elected. I was pregnant and my father was literally dying. It never occurred to me that I could not simply leave if it got that bad. My son was born here and is therefore a citizen and he therefore will have to sign his black ass up for selective service. You can’t just become as unamerican as they accuse you of being. Trust me, I’ve tried.

Racism is a HUGE reason, of course, but fuc#loads of money from revanchist oligarchs is what did the trick.

The Constitution, read it, live it or fuck off.

Love it or leave it, is a bumper sticker not our nations declaration. Honk if you're gay is also a bumper sticker but not honking doesn't mean you're deported.

Plus, when people keep telling you that you have to love something or else, it usually causes you to love it less. Like cooked spinach or cauliflower.

All Republicans have to do is hop into Obama’s time machine, go back in time and tell the people who want to have ALL the work done, before the first slave ship is sent off to drag kidnapped Africans to America where they have to work for free to instead find the money to pay white enough people to do ALL the work they want the enslaved Africans to do for the cost of those bodies. I am sure they will be more than willing to pay workers instead of having to pay for slaves who would work for free.

I can’t help but think that humanity would be so much more advanced if we weren’t hung up on all this Culture War BS. It’s the 21st fucking century and we’re still arguing about stupid shit like this while the world burns!

So I am supposed to love that my country is being led by a criminally elected dumbfuck, his corrupt, grifty administration and craven, complicit congresspeople. I am supposed to love that too many of my fellow Americans are racist, homophobic, misogynistic, gun humping pieces of crap who revel in the pain of others. If I don't love that I should leave? I should not question authority or the status quo? Being ordered to have blind allegiance seems contrary to the concept of freedom but then we are in magamerica and everything sucks.

If this is the rule, then I imagine we won't hear any caterwauling when President Harris or President Warren is sworn in and the aforementioned cretins are told to love it or leave it.

We saw what happened during the Obama years.

Back then, loving their country was all about criticizing everything the President said or did.

Times sure have changed.

You can pretty much say anything so long as "with votes" are the next two words. But we encourage several of our Republican friends to practice vigorous self love on a regular basis.

From a little further digging, the most substantive criticism Drumpf has against Omar is that she pointed out the "Black Hawk Down" incident resulted in the deaths of many Somalis. So apparently German Americans can't mention the Dresden business.

But since Ron is from Wisconsin, I'd encourage him to fuck himself with tetanus infected dairy equipment.
