To be sure, they are running out of time. Either the economy goes into the abyss, or they run out of people to rob, fleece, deny, or deport with apparent impunity.

Failing that, perhaps they need a fresh crop of people to blame after making The Original Appointees look smarter by comparison.

Is it bad I used all the dirty bits as markers to know how far I had read in the write up when interrupted?

Senator Tillis: ICE is now Trump's personal army. THIS IS PATENTLY ILLEGAL. THIS IS A COMMUNIST-TYPE TAKEOVER! Trump is a dictator. GET RID OF HIM! The economy is in free fall. Our relationship with the rest of the world is in the trash. No-one will travel here. No tourism. Price rises. Unemployment is up. WE ARE IN GREAT TROUBLE. GET RID OF HIM AND HIS CRIMINAL ORGANIZATION! If you want a personal legacy other than one of failure GET RID OF TRUMP!!

The second i saw the WSJ bit about "transgender ideology on bullets", i thought "if that's even 2% accurate, it can't even be a horseshoe leftist"

“The American people elected Trump.” I hate when they pull this sh*t. When you look at the actual numbers something like 22.6% of “the American people “ voted for Trump.

WHY WHY WHY do i never hear a D say "he was elected by a mere plurality of american voters, and therefore it is right and appropriate that we NOT simply rubber=stamp everything?"

i bet in the olden days of daniel webster, they would have done so. why are they so useless now?

"Under the new rules passed yesterday, the Senate can now approve, by a simple majority, groups of appointees to sub-Cabinet level jobs and ambassadorships. Those groups can include however many appointees the majority leader wants to throw together."

I hope the RINOs will be ready when this rule is used against them. They seem to think that the pendulum is stuck to the right and won't swing back to the left. There ***will*** be a day of reckoning and then they become a solid bunch of assholes hoisted by their own petards and deserving of all the opprobrium that will be heaped on them, and the schadenfreude will be delicious (prone bone cream pies).

-----

"In a further step to shut the minority party out of any power to check Mad King Donald, the new rules will allow Republican senators to object to an individual nominee in a group confirmation block, but not Democrats."

Again, I hope that the RINOs are prepared for some tit to their tat. This might be wishcasting, but there's no fucking way the RINOs asshattery will be tolerated by a majority of voters for an extended length of time, and then.... (the Fulvous Fuckwad and his best buds taking turns giving reach-arounds)

-----

"Trump [sic] torpedoed the deal, encouraging Republicans to go home for their summer break and telling Senate Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer (D-New York) on social media to “GO TO HELL!”"

I can't begin to tell you how happy I am that decorum, maturity, and civility has finally been returned to the Oval Office! (RINO Circle-jerk)

"Oh for a spine in Chuck Schumer, who thinks too well of himself to do unto others as they have done unto him. Yea, verily, I behold a man who is a friend to his enemies, and lukewarm to his friends, and at all times a failure in a fight. For he doth not do battle; it is not a 'fair fight, it is incivil.' And by God we shall be civil, even as we are beaten to the ground and mocked to the ends of the earth, with the remnants of Law shattered around our very civil feet, courtesy of the Supreme Court."

“This move by Republicans was not so much about ending obstruction, as they claim; rather, it was another act of genuflection to the executive branch…”

Chuckles needs to fucking sack up and stop being such a mealy-mouthed loser. “…an act of genuflection…” seriously? It was the GOP fucking tonguing Assmouth’s taint while he spanked them with a copy of the Constitution. Schumer is a product of a bygone age, and is far FAR from the leader we need right now.
