Also since about 1980, Florida is very hard on DUI (DWI).
The manner in which the republican "investigation" is conducted matters not at all. They could hold a single meeting in the parking lot at an Arby's, invent a couple of 'aternative facts', and Foxnews will run with it 24/7.

This reminds me of this little shitass suburban school district I used to cover. I think it was ONE school, two tops, yet the board members were forever going on junkets to Vegas and New Orleans. Meantime they were, of course, complete tightwads in contract negotiations with teachers.
The hazard relates to what happens if the voters find out. With the demise of local newspapers, it’s less likely the voters will know that they need to get their pitchforks and torches
