And remember folks, Boston mayors never get voted out. They take a position or retire or die.

Hey, I was a Local 3 apprentice many years ago! Helped build a small dam at Rancho Murieta. Unfortunately at the time there were NO jobs. It was over a year before they called me up for my first job. I just couldn't afford to stay in the program, risk a one week job and get put back at the end of the line again, so I had to drop out. :(

Now UPTE-CWA 9119, Local 6, retired. :)

She is a Western Slope/South Central redneck elected by Western Slope/South Central rednecks. Source: I once lived in South Central redneck country, and I have relatives who are Western Slope rednecks who no doubt enthusiastically voted for her. Blame them, not the majority of Coloradoans, who don't live in Colorado's benighted Third Congressional District. https://uploads.disquscdn.c...

Nope. If that were going to have happened, it would have happened after Sandy Hook. (A few) Women and (lots of) little children, mostly white, in a school, in the suburbs.

Nothing would ever be the same.

And nothing changed.

I concur. If shooting up all those babies didn't cause change, nothing will.

I agree. No major changes without a huge external push.

I'm so very pleased. Walsh seems perfect for the job, and I look forward to a functioning OSHA as well.

I'm soon to be a union member myself (SEIU-1199), retroactive to January 1st of this year.
