Last night a judge asked why Trump is ignoring a "unfreeze the goddam money" judgment and reduced Trump's lawyer to a pile of shit when he couldn't answer the question. The judge wants SOMEONE to show up in his court and explain it, pronto. What will be the answer, "Well, the President didn't want to!" I'd like to see or Trump or Elon showing up at the court in person. Wishful thinking, I know.
Republicans don't bargain in good faith. I can't think of any enforcement mechanism that could be put in place that would actually force Donald Chump to stop criming.

Yep. The criming is happening in the first place because there's no way to force the executive branch to do *anything.* They are quite literally not bound by the law.

The problem is, trump and the republicans lie and promise - and then go ahead and keep doing what they're doing anyway. When you have criminals who keep stealing, all the while telling you they will never ever steal again, even as their hands are grabbing your wallet, you have to put them in prison to stop them. They can't/won't stop themselves unless they're physically detained. Spoken and written agreements to stop stealing have no effect at all to people who don't care and can't be shamed.

Please do not vote for a new continuing resolution until Trump and Musk agree to stop and undo their illegal and unconstitutional actions. So far as I can tell, refusing to cooperate with Republicans on this issue is the last piece of leverage Democrats have to stop the craziness. Please use it.
