I'm scared and angry. When mass arrests of innocent people take place, and threats are made against the Democratic party wherein it's called a terrorist network by the regime, America is in deep shit.

And people are thinking that we can fix things by merely voting Democratic in the midterms. How naive and feckless; we couldn't even win an election in 2024 knowing about Trump's plans to turn this country into a dictatorship and tear it all down.

How long before Trump starts shutting down newspapers and jailing journalists?

"The Washington Post (which is apparently quite determined to demonstrate exactly how democracy can die in darkness)."

The Washington Post is determined to honor its (former) motto "Democracy Dies in Darkness" by killing it in broad daylight.

Rubio and his power hungry fascists will have a boatload of lawsuits if they’ve actually follow through on such threats.

Since it takes months or years for such suits to be resolved it’s unlikely we’ll hear much about them fit a while.

But the lawsuits will come.

Sucks to be you Lil Marco

I’d like a passport to Punch Marco Rubio, please. It’s too bad MAGA isn’t a renewable energy source because our troubles would be over.

Your friendly reminder that this is exactly what Stalin, Mussolini and Hitler did. Are we going to allow this? No. Get on your phones and 'puters and call all of your reps and senators . Call the newspapers in your hometown. Get out in the streets, because our window is closing to stay kinda sorta free. Also, get your passport renewed if you haven't. This bill will likely go nowhere, but it's on all of us to make sure it doesn't.

The CDC reported over 44,000 total firearm deaths in 2024 An average of 124 every fucking day. Were the other 123 that much less important?? Even Charlie argued that it is a necesarry price to pay to protect 2nd amendment rights. I commend Charlie for the strength of his conviction!

That's what Al Sisi did during his coup in Egypt. He used his influence to declare the Muslim Brotherhood a terrorist organization, threw all its officials in jail including Morsi, persuaded other countries to believe the Brotherhood were terrorists including the US.

Fun facts...

Rubio's maternal grandfather, Pedro Victor Garcia, immigrated to the U.S. legally in 1956, but returned to Cuba to find work in 1959. When in 1962 he fled communist Cuba and returned to the U.S. without a visa, he was detained as an undocumented immigrant and an immigration judge ordered him to be deported. Rubio's parents were not US citizens when he was born making him an "Anchor Baby"

"It could even include simply insulting the sacred memory of Charlie Kirk."

That is exactly true and should fly in the face of any "Real American" In this country you have the god-given right to not like people. Any people, living or dead. At this point, some sanctimonious bullshit version of Charlie Kirk is being pumped out and spoon fed to the American people. In reality, 8 people out of 10 had never heard of him until his untimely demise, which makes creating some god like portrayal of him immensly easy.

Did anyone have the right to shoot Charlie Kirk just for being a pompous ass. A guy who enjoyed bullying naive 19 year olds to tears. Of course NOT! Did anyone have the right to shoot Charlie Kirk for spreading false narratives to gullible undergrads on college campuses. Of course NOT!!

This image of Charlie Kirk as some wise Socratic genius and expert debater is as false as the one of Donald Trump being a formidable successful businessman.

And another thing.... there had better not be a flag draped coffin for Kirk That is an honor he does not in any way qualify for. It is reserved for..

Any honorably discharged veteran: Who served during wartime.

Who died on active duty after May 27, 1941.

Who served after January 31, 1955.

Who was a peacetime veteran discharged or released before June 27, 1950.

Certain former members of the Selected Reserves

Charl;ie Kirk is NONE of the above!
