Can I assume from this that NYC does not have laws limiting the hours in which you can do construction in residential areas? The city I live in has laws about this - you can only do construction in residential areas on weekdays between 7 am and 7 pm, and on Saturdays until 5 pm, and not on Sundays at all, unless you apply for and are granted a special permit to work after hours because it is an emergency situation.
