So here's the issue I'm having with what you're saying: Even with all the investigations into Bill Clinton, he still ran for and won a second term. The blue dress would have amounted to zero had he not lied. Still, he's regarded as a decent if not good president. Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, had her presidential hopes dashed because (1) she thought she'd be the next Obama and wasn't and (2) a lot of people just thought she wasn't perfect enough.
Lest we forget: Hillary Clinton WON the popular vote by over three million votes which, in any decently-run democracy, would have been enough to put her in the White House. But we, in our infinite wisdom, have this albatross of a structure called the Electoral College, which tips the scales heavily towards the right.
After Raskin makes them all look like choads, rush it to the Senate. Joe Biden should make an announcement "Let's get this malarkey on the road. I want a fast trial unlike my opponent who is constantly trying to delay his".

Unemployment is rock-bottom. The recession never really happened. The ship was righted and the Dow just hit a record high. America can’t seem to embrace this for some reason. Probably partly because good news doesn’t sell.

Think about the jokes we all make about the news headlines “Employment At An All Time Low- How This Is Bad For Biden!” It’s baffling why the mainstream outlets beat up on even Democrats’ successes (I have my theory but that’s another story) when there’s so much good to report. the Republican voter tends to be undaunted by law or morality, armed and dangerous. "working through the system" just doesn't have the visceral kick of intimidation, of outright terrorism. They are an unacknowledged foreign affiliate of the Taliban.
