For variety you can switch over and watch crews on various docked Cruise Ships or watch the GOM from Fort Walton Beach. I find the sound of the waves soothing.
I love cruises, too. Been on four large cruise ships and excellent experience every time. Haven’t been in about ten years though - people seem more likely to get sick on them now. But I’d go again. Shore excursions are great.
It does, and we tend to self police. Thank you for gracefully being part of that. We've had a lot of newbies in the last few weeks, and it may take awhile for that to filter through. And some of us who have been around longer stick our feet in our mouth on general principle once in awhile.
I went on a cruise once. It sucked. I could have just stayed and got drunk without having to deal with a bunch of assholes. Maybe I should have gone alone
As a merchant mariner, I totally agree that those foreign flag cruise ships should not get any U.S. bailouts. Yes, let them go to their flag of convenience nations for a handout.
