Dammit I hate that song. It kept faking me into thinking that it was going to be "Werewolves", which would be worth listening to, unlike Kid Rock.
Nope. Been in KY 45 years and everybody down here who's got a Confederate flag says the same stupid shit. Kentucky was a border state, officially neutral, ya buncha numbnuts.
I'm curious. I admit without shame that whenever I see the stars&bars being displayed in any manner up here in liebrul enclave WA state, my mind zooms right to racist. Is this the consensus here? I ask because I got into an argument with a coworker as we were heading out to lunch and came up behind a pickup with an s&b license plate displayed in the back window (obligatory gun rack). My coworker (not a southroner and fairly liberal) did the bend-over-backwards bit of "not necessarily" because heritage. I didn't budge and never do with stars&bars. "I guarentee you that that man is in some way racist" I said of the man behind the wheel. "You want heritage, fly a state flag; fly a college logo; slap a state slogan on that back window; put up a sticker of a great nat. park or beach or geologic feature of your fav southron state. But you choose to fly stars&bars, you are making an overt statement of racism."
So am I too quick to judge on this issue?
This guy doesn't get that while he may not be like the other ones, he puts a smiley bland face on the attitude that allows the "other ones" to creep into public service.
I don't know if that makes sense to anyone.

It was all about the dress uniforms and hoop skirts with 6 petticoats. Never you mind who helped you put then on.
Apparently, he is a successful retailer of traitor paraphernalia.
That picture is the illustration for the wikipedia article on "smarmy".

"Heritage" means "traitors who lost" in southern lingo.
