It's hard to know which decision was the more stupid. Fighting a civil war to keep a few states from leaving the union, or allowing so many territories to become states and join the union.

It's a good thing SD has otherwise completely solved employment, education, infrastructure, and health care and hs decided to focus on the IMPORTANT issues.

Sorta, gender is only "quasi-suspect". So you get intermediate, not strict, scrutiny. But this law is so stupid I'd hope it would fail even under rational basis.
