I grew up in a small town and some of my less enlightened childhood friends are MAGA by default, because they are susceptible to the gullible rage of non-issues like men tucking their genitals to win gold medals in women’s Olympic gymnastics, Bud Light using the ladies room, etc.
One such friend, who in 2016 I ended nearly all contact with for my own mental health, is a heavy gambler. He almost always bets the favorite, because that’s how you win. “Gambling is the finest thing a person can do IF he’s good at it,” The Simpsons taught me. Anyway, because I’m still a halfway decent person, I texted him and warned him to avoid KC. They won most of their games by a cat’s whisker, and they were running on fumes in several key areas. Mahomes had his worst season in years, Kelce wasn’t the star TE of old, and their running game was weak. The Eagles were the most dynamic team in the league, especially after week 2. Offensive PoY at RB, with a rising star QB and solid receivers.
He didn’t listen, responding, “KC all the way.” Bigly.

I'm afraid it's even worse that what they have in mind for Taylor that just popping out tons of kids. What they want from Taylor and Travis's offspring is the following: The boys to play football like dear old dad (no sciencetist allowed) and the girls to sing (no science for you either). And if the boys can sing, they better make it to the Super Bowl as a football player, perform at their own halftime show, and go back out and play again!!! Finally, in the name of "wholesomeness," the entire family will be dragged out every year around Christmas to perform on a TV show called It's A Very Taylor Family Christmas Special. And yes, the celebrity friends will show up, say Merry Christmas, sing, and tell dumb jokes, just to entertain the future MAGA's. Of course, by the 70's, one of the offspring will write the tell all book (Growing Up Swiftie) where Taylor will turn to booze and pills for self medication, Travis has to dragged to the shooting of the Christmas special almost every year from where he will be staying with his mistress of the moment.

As for Swift and Kelce, I’d bet my left buttocks that they end their romance within 6 months of his retirement. It’s just not in the tarot card deck for them I’m afraid. Taylor isn’t going to stop being the biggest pop star in the world to raise a family with Trav. She continues her career, living her best life, and he hits the club scene to promote his podcast and mustache cream. I see the future.
No SB for me. Watched "My Fair Lady" on TCM, front to back, even the Intermission. It was glorious. Reflected on days gone by. It was also our HS musical back in 1970, when I was in the orchestra pit playing French Horn. I remembered the entire script and all the lyrics. That happens, after weeks or rehearsals. A great day.
Back in my day I played piccolo and flute in the pit. Damn Yankees lyrics, hoo boy I enjoyed that show. "Whatever Lola wants, Lola gets, and little man, little Lola wants you..."
