What is not addressed is why the U.S. spends billions on public and private prisons yet canβt contain these persons who supposedly committed crimes under U.S. jurisdiction. And wants to pay for them to be detained elsewhere.

With the captive Republican Supreme Court and Frau Pam as AG, there is not going to be any way for courts to save us. Remember, Americans specifically gave the powers of the Executive Branch (what does your law enforcement) to the transnational, racist, ethnonationalist criminal syndicate so that they could do things like get rid of the minorities they hate. Don't listen to them carping about groceries or tariffs. This is the main star of the sadpopulist attraction.
This was the problem no Democrat could've solved because the Democratic campaign treated vulnerable minorities as people. And that's DOUBLEPLUS BAD for the unreconstructed that control wide swaths of the USA.
Our electorate has to upgrade. In the meantime it's incumbent upon all of us to do what we can to survive and claw back a semblance of a check.
1. If you get snatched up, be loud, do not go silently. Let people know what is happening to you.
2. Make sure if you are able and registered, vote to get Democrats in power in the upcoming elections. Even if it doesn't work, every vote counts. Because there are going to be edge cases where it DOES flip races. You never know.
3. Survive. It's going to take decades to get out of this as we try to endure this maladministration and the generational damage it is already causing. Do what you can to survive. They are doing everything they can to kill as many of us as possible via miasma, pestilence and famine.

I'm sure the people on the plane will be treated humanely. They'll be given stale little bags of honey-roasted peanuts and be seated on the tarmac for a month while the courts toss this around and then give Trump permission to do it. Well, Trump Fuckwit is right about one thing. Treating immigrants like this will deter others from coming here. Unfortunately, tourists from friendly nations with dollars to spend will be coming here less and less as well. The UK, Germany, Denmark, Finland, Belgium and Portugal have already issued travel warnings about travelling to the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Massachusetts AG, Andrea Campbell, was on an NPR show this morning. She explained that the Executive Branch has such sweeping powers when it comes to immigration policy that it is beyond difficult for other entities to do anything about it. Even so, MA is not planning to stop filing lawsuits against the Trump administration anytime in the foreseeable future.
That's why Americans need to not prioritize their privilege, prejudice and clout, and avoid electing a transnational, ethnonationalist racist criminal syndicate to head the Executive Branch. You elect such a syndicate you're gonna get this.
