Fine, Rep. Scalise. Wait till Newsom or Cuomo does something like this: Advises all state residents to set income tax withholding at zero. Promises to use the state's AG and Secretary of State (and other state agencies as appropriate) to interpose the power of the state between taxpayers and the federal government. Revokes the ability of credit reporting agencies to downgrade someone's credit rating for not paying federal income tax. Barr debt collectors from collecting federal taxes.

Then, let's talk blue state bailout, Sparky.

That can be said of many "red" states. We, as Wonkers, must stay united, no matter which state we may live in.

Scalise should be worrying more about the money problems that his state has!

"Louisiana’s pension systems had nearly $34 billion in assets and $52.2 billion in liabilities in 2017, according to the report, a gap of $18.2 billion in its ability to pay future benefits that will come due down the road. Louisiana’s pensions were 65% funded in this metric, compared to 69% nationally. Louisiana is one of 20 states with less than two-thirds of the assets it needs to pay its future pension obligations."

He squandered it after he voted against gun control after he got shot.

And didn't he vote against funding for LGBTQ initiatives even though the capitol police who saved his life ID'd as a lesbian??

I do not understand some people.

I just have nothing left for these Scalise-like beings. I cannot imagine dialoguing with them in good faith, because I have grown too certain that they will only feign honesty to distract from their deception. It's like a game to them, duping the lib.Scalise knows what he's saying is crap. And it's no surprise since republicans have been manufacturing liberal hatred into votes for decades now. The end game is different this time. I hope that's clear to everyone by now. They intend to convert all this hatred - every last drop - into kinetic energy when the time feels right to them.

They have principles! Really shitty principles.

Ooh, congressional salaries determined by a combination of their states minimum wage and how much it brings in, in terms of federal income tax dollars. Don't pay your bottom dollar employees well and don't bring in as much federal dollars as you take out? Congrats! Your salary as a congress critter for that state is fuck you money! Don't like it? Fuck you, be less shitty.

*Note this is probably actually a terrible idea, but it would be kinda funny just to shut up perpetual shiteating back bench fuckweasels like Steve Scalise when his salary drops to the equivalent of a piss in a leaky boot.

I have read that on the internet so it must be true.

I wonder how much texas is going to contribute to the federal coffers now that oil is $0 a barrel? and I wonder how florida is gonna do with no tourism? but I'll bet california won't be able to contribute anything because nobody is watching movies or using computers right now. but keep talking scalise, you're just convincing more of us blue states to have a civil war do over, but this time we'll ask you to leave
