Stilted Rahm Goes Entire Announcement Video Without Swears

Yes, he lets off a "gangbanger," but where is the passionate Rahm Emanuel in this announcement video, the one with all the swears? Rahm asks people to talk to him in "blunt Chicago terms," but he won't do that himself? Sure, we expect him to temper his rhetoric for the new electorate, but that only means changing "fuckwit crusty old tampon" into "fuckwit crusty old tampon deep-dish pizza, da Bears." Whatever. Rahm Emanuel will have to withdraw soon anyway, because this video contains a huge lie:

According to his spokeswoman, this video "was actually filmed in Washington, D.C., in the offices of AKPD media, the firm founded by David Axelrod." That's funny, because Rahm says "I'm glad to be home" and keeps referring to Chicago as "here."

And also: Those charges that he doesn't meet the residency requirement to run? Pretty legitimate!

So Rahm may be in some trouble here. But perhaps if he yells some swears at it, nakedly, in a locker room, everything will get in line. [ Politics Daily ]
