Any deportation done by an agency other than ICE isn't really a deportation. It's merely sparkling removal.

Ultra-processed foods are a problem. Well, I only remember this because I am so old, BUT, in 1981, during the Reagan administration, ketchup and pickle relish were declared vegetables in the federal budget so that the GOP could BOTH cut back funding to the National School Lunch Program AND claim that the school lunches would still meet nutritional guidelines.

Why are the same people who say stuff like "I'm not talking about 1/6/21! I'm looking towards the future! (Just forget about it)" usually the same folks who think we need to have confederate statues all over the place?

I love the flip flop from being angry a black woman said let's eat better, but crusty white dude with brain worms says it, and suddenly it's a great idea.

Feel free, fellow minorities, to comment about groups taking up your ideas only when voiced by an older cis het white dude

It’s my marriage in a nutshell: mostly sitting around waiting for all my good ideas to occur to him.

I call it the Court Reporter Phenomenon, as in I really wish that sometimes we had a court reporter documenting our conversations just so I could prove whose idea it really was.

***Whether out of frustration that Brennan broke the “open border” talking point or that he will now not be able to take credit for those deportations when he becomes Border Fuhrer, Homan began complaining.***

"Actually, if you drill into the numbers, about 80 percent of those numbers are actually Border Patrol arrests that the enforcement operation of ICE processed and moved back across the border."

I'm shocked he admitted ANYBODY has neem sent back!

This is always the maddening point of Immigration/ Border discussions...R's demagogue that 'millions come across illegally" but refuse to acknowledge that well over 90% are sent back in a day, or two at most.

Only a few (tens of?) thousands are actually admitted for processing as Asylum Seekers and this is one of the Big Lies that make sensible discussion difficult.
