Sorry not sorry, Alabama In a stunning defeat for the backwater cousin-humpers of Alabama, the United States Supreme Court unanimously ruled Monday that the state's Supreme Court sure is dumb at reading the Constitution. The case stems from a nice lesbian couple in Georgia who decided to make some twin babies together, with science. The couple filed adoption papers, so that the non-birth mommy could also be a legal parent of her own children. But when the couple went splitsville a few years later, the birth mommy tried to get a court in Alabama to say "nuh uh, that adoption in Georgia doesn't count" because Alabama judges hate homosextarians very a lot, so they're inclined to refuse to recognize any rights said homosextarians might have under the law.
I've had the displeasure of meeting racist gay people. I've also met misogynist gay men. They scare me slightly less than black republicans or gop supporting Californians.
Is there any way the Supreme Court can revoke the birth mommy's gayness, or kick her off gay island or something?
I mean, who the hell-crap goes to the supreme court to undermine gay rights over some custody dispute? Homophobes, that's who. This lady is seriously in the closet.
Misogynist gay men piss me off more than straight men who are misogynist. Because to me, I date women so I kind of understand that sometimes we're annoying and how that can generalize (not okay with it!) but gay men who blame things on women tend to make me really angry.
You're equating homosexuals with pedophiles, kleptos and pyromaniacs.
Pedophilia, kleptomania and pyromania are not "propensities" - they're recognized mental illnesses, and the actions taken by those people are illegal and can cause harm (in some cases, GREAT harm) to the public.
A propensity is an inclination, tendency, bent or bias. Not a be-all, end-all. Someone may be born with a propensity for gambling or alcohol addiction, but just having the propensity for it doesn't mean they become an addict. There's a choice involved that can affect behavior.
Homosexuality is not a choice, just like being straight is not a choice. If you're straight, you know you were born that way and noone or nothing will make you gay. It works the same way in the other direction.
Referring to sexuality as a "propensity" demonstrates a clear lack of understanding what a propensity is, and lumping it in with mental illness also demonstrates a clear lack of either 1) education, 2) humanity, or 3) all of the above.

I learn something new everyday

"... the backwater cousin-humpers of Alabama..."
Q: Why are there no convictions for sex crimes in Alabama?
A: Everybody's DNA is the same.
Stop promising the world will end! It never does! And then I have to get up early again.
I think I just heard Dan Savage giggling. Challenge accepted.

Maybe we can all go on a field trip of some kind.
'Thank God for Mississippi or else we'd be dead last' is a common saying in West Virginia.
Can we trade Cube for Texas? Like Texas can stop being a state and instead we get Cuba and lots of new doctors.
I feel this is a winner. I'm also taking Canada's PM and giving them back Ted Cruz.
Wow, Alabama just out Georged Georgia!
Tell us all about that day you "decided" to be straight....

No, schizophrenia is not a choice - it's also an illness, just like pedophilia, kleptomania and pyromania - so, what's your point?
That other stuff you wrote is some kind of sick porn, right? Now THAT'S a propensity that is best kept private.
Protip: If it's bleeding, you're doing it very very wrong.
Either that or you have something your physician needs to look at, which isn't as big a deal.
Seconding that. Not only do I not remember "choosing" to be straight, but I tried to "be bisexual" just to see what the big deal was. No dice.
