It's their districts that did the nation a disservice by voting them in.

If they really did care as much as you think they do, they would openly come out tomorrow and say that Obergefell is still completely off limits to be overturned even through all of them have already been confirmed. The far right conservative judges don't care what a majority of people think about their rulings, same with the liberal and moderately left wing judges. The difference is that the latter will be more likely to rule in favor of what the constitution actually says rather than what they want it to say.

The Supreme Court is confusing the hell out of me right now. Hope this isn't off-topic: is the Wagner (unfortunate nomenclature) Group actually fomenting a revolt against the Kremlin?? Shame if the government insurrection Dump tried on the Capitol happened instead to Comrade Vlad. Fine, whatever

We've already got 50 little fiefdoms with wildly differing rules, to the extent that some states have better education, some better health care, some better schools, and some whose only claim to fame is no state income tax (which they collect anyway via other taxes). And we have people for whom moving simply isn't an option, either because of work or because they can't afford it. In a country based on the idea of individual liberty, we have roundly fucked the common good.

This one would have stripped any GOP president of power. They won't have that, not having imbibed near dictatorial powers in the president over the years.

Actually, I heard from a reliable source that Gorsuch and Kavanaugh enjoy masturbating to any Ayn Rand they can get their hands on. Please note: experts have determined that anyone over the age of 25 who thinks Ayn Rand is awesome is a person whose frontal lobe has never fully developed.

Of course he did. He's not even trying to hide his blatant disregard for the actual constitution.

Hi from a state where the democratic governor was stripped of power but those same powers will magically be given back the second a republican is in the governors office. Consistency is not a republican value.

Yes, I believe that is the plan. These piddling rulings are nothing next to destroying our entire system of democracy (i.e. ratfucking the vote).
