This story just gets increasingly vile. The subjugation of women, forcing the daughters to hug it out with the perpetrator of the sexual attack against them after his apparent "rehabilitation". Its truly disgusting at all levels. I admit that I initially thought, despite my absolute disgust for this family, that 14 is 14 and we all make mistakes and blah blah blah. I too, am "a idiot".
For those who are religious, and I mean the truly pious ones, its appropriate to pray for a perpetrator of sexual violence, and I wouldn't blame them in this case. It just appeared that the knee jerk reaction to this story was Duggar (does that rhyme with "bugger" as in the cute name of a sexual act or "luger" as in the gun??) christians all seemed to fall all over themselves to pray for the criminal, but few wanted to pray for the innocent girls who were victimized. I'm sure I'm overplaying that, but it is my perception.
Anyway...remember back in the old days when we all could revel in the lies that O'Reilly was telling on Fox about his alleged "war correspondence". Goddamn, that man should be paying the Duggars for taking the heat off of him. Now Hastert...Bill is laughing...the right has helped him out again...
