Police in Greenwood Village, Colorado, got the chance to try out some of their more advanced tactical toys last Wednesday as they brought a 20-hour standoff with an armed shoplifter to an exciting close in a barrage of flash-bang grenades, "chemical agents" -- napalm, we're guessing -- and a "breaching ram" that left a suburban two-story home
My local police department recently posted a video of them trying to capture a bat in a box in somebody's apartment. I hate to imagine how the Greenwood Village PD would have responded to such a call.
A little OT, but I'm reminded of how many stop signs and cacti in the desert have been shot up by "responsible gun owners" for little more reason than "it was there."
seriously, the police would have spent less taxpayer money if they had just shut off water and electric to the house and waited the guy out. Military hardware ain't cheap.

They didn't use the tank!?????!!!! Always use the tank!!!!....
I've heard of them being used to find blobby-looking hot spots on houses, but sometimes there are other signs of indoor cultivation.
I'm almost positive there are Call of Duty players who could've handled this better, and they wouldn't even need to use the Ray Gun.
"Drones? We don' need no stinking drones..."

"Sun-filled, airy home with dramatic views..."
