Taliban Disappointed In Donald Trump's Lack Of Seriousness, Withholds Endorsement

Also, they're not so crazy about his followers

Donald Trump had a rough week, and to make matters worse, he's not even getting any respect from the Taliban, at least based on his debate performance last week, according to NBC News:  

"We were very interested in watching," said Zabihullah Mujahid.

The spokesman added that "Trump ... [says] anything that comes to his tongue" and branded the Republican candidate as "non-serious."

NBC reports the leaders of the Afghan militant group watched the debate from a "secret location in Afghanistan," although the story included no details on what kind of drinking games the radical Islamic fundamentalists may have played.

Not that the Taliban had much good to say about either candidate:

He said the militant group's leadership had hoped that Afghanistan would feature more prominently in the discussion.

"There nothing of interest to us in the debate as both of them said little about Afghanistan and their future plans for the country," he said.

That's the problem with politics these days. It's all about me, me, me. We suspect the Taliban is simply jealous, since Donald Trump has been far more effective in recruiting for ISIS anyway.

No word yet on Mr. Trump's reaction to the snub from the Taliban, although we expect him to complain on Twitter that the group has hardly been a leader in terrorism lately, and is truly second-rate and sad. Not that he would necessarily repudiate any support from Taliban members. Trump was not much of a hit, although Yr Wonkette suspects their opinion of the bloviating egotist may have improved in the in the past week, given Trump's public feud with a beauty pageant contestant.

Yr Wonkette's sources inside the Taliban say the group approves of any candidate who shames women, though they wish he could avoid being so tacky about it. Also, they want to know when the hell he's going to release his taxes. Most Taliban are torn between Gary Johnson, since he has no idea who they are, and Jill Stein, whose views on vaccinations they appear to share. Asked their thoughts on Evan McMullin, they simply said, "Who?"

Since panning Trump's debate performance, Zabihullah Mujahid has been relentlessly harassed online by Trump supporters, who keep calling him a filthy Jew and tweeting pictures of him having sex with Pepe the cartoon frog.
