Well, my dear terrible ones, it's been a couple of days since we took out all the ads! DO YOU LIKE IT? Also, apparently, it has been a day and a half since you could post pictures to Disqus. I do not particularly ... how do you say ... care . (We are now paying Disqus for the pleasure of providing our comments, instead of letting them place ads in there like they wanted to. Our nice lady at Disqus is checking, but she thinks the picture thing is just a bug and not a feature of our paid subscription to them. Please take a breath and remember back to the time that we had IntenseDebate, and not only could you not post pictures, but IT WOULD PERIODICALLY LOCK ME OUT, and as admin, I couldn't even whitelist MYSELF. So darlings, can the bitching, tout suite!)

I know you want to know how much money you've sent me, and it looks like about $20,000. That's wonderful! We appreciate you! People who sent us Love Gifts on Feb. 6, you have all received your Special Personalized Wonkette Thank You Note! People who sent us Love Gifts on Feb. 7, you should get them tomorrow! (If I send more than 500 in a day, Gmail thinks I am spamming you. Sure I am! WITH SEX KISSES!)

I don't think we'll continue to get $10,000 a day, every day, from our readers, and we shouldn't! We are not the ACLU up in here! What we are is your friendly neighborhood gin joint, with babies! But it would be awfully helpful if you made a recurring donation, each month, of five or ten or one million dollars. (To make a recurring donation, look at our sidebar, right over there ------> where it says "join the ranks -- monthly donations," and you can choose an amount up to $100 a month! See, I already alternative facted you when I said you could give us one million dollars. To do that you'd have to send a check in the mail. )
