I'm feeling envious of my father, who only had to deal with RIchard Nixon's defeat of Humphrey and McGovern. I don't know who is more dangerous: Nixon because he was smart and sneaky, or Trump because he's stupid and reckless.
However...if the white working class truly decided this election, and he doesn't deliver the promised jobs that pay $32 an hour for a high-school graduates in the next six months, there might be hell to pay. How's he gonna suppress the white vote?
i hope she retires from Dem politics, promotes the causes she cares about, runs her charity organization that makes the world better, plays with her grandkids, and has a good life. She deserves it. She's earned it.
She offered her lifetime of service and experience not to mention her personal qualities of commitment, intelligence, toughness and values. For whatever reason, some voters decided no we'd rather have a cheeto jesus. So here we are.
