We don’t have a Tesla dealership here far as I know but Saskatoon does and there was a sizeable crowd protesting it on the weekend including many Tesla owners. PLOT TWIST!
I have a theory that there are two sets of protests going on. The daytime peaceful protests during business hours are Democrats. The ones coming along at 3:00 AM and firebombing and shooting cars are Republicans as pissed off about the government as we are.
We don't use violence as a form of political protest. They do.
Why does Wonkette hate Ohio? Is it cause you're based on Michigan now?
*Cleveland* drew about 650 protestors, the largest turnout yet (it's been going for weeks, here). COLUMBUS had the lame attempt at a counterprotest, as befits it's place on the Mason-Dixon line - or as kids are calling it these days, I-70. I know they both start with C and are in flyover country, but they really are different places.
Vandalizing Teslas of course, is illegal. And I don't recommend it but it certainly isn't illegal to slow down whenever you see one behind you so that they have to get off their self driving program and actually drive around you.
Did Elon give no thought to what his actions with DOGE would do to Tesla? I thought he was a boy genius. People who thought they were doing the right thing buying an EV are now screwed as resale and trade in values plummet.
There's pictures of him talking a black Cadillac to a meeting to avoid drawing attention. I'd post it if I knew where I'd seen it. The Guardian, maybe.
I would extend "just don't do that" to vandalism of any kind of Tesla cars or property. For one thing, it just feeds the bastard's counter-narrative, and for another, the cars are a major investment for people you know nothing about, including how they feel about Musk.
If you're so filled with rage that you just have to be an asshole to somebody, I totally understand--I get that way myself, increasingly often in fact. But please, stop at leaving a nasty note on a windshield.
My dad reported about 200 people at the protest in Corte Madera, California on Saturday. Nowhere to park near the library a couple of blocks away, so he drove around the area, no parking blocks away in the other direction, too! The freeway overpass had a big banner visible to NB 101, the Tesla dealership is on the freeway SB, so protesters had signs on that fence as well. He rolled down his window and waved in support as he drove by the picket line.

Elon Musk is a little douche coup.

Ta, Dom. Fine photojournalism.
They all want to be perceived as victims of leftist violence so badly. It’s really pathetic.

I was boycotting Tesla before it was cool.
Often do I wonder: Does Elon even know who Tesla was? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IBJlhqbC-Go
Considering his career is modeled more after Edison’s, I doubt it.
hey dominic--in defense of Cleveland, your citation takes us to information about COLUMBUS ohio.
we'd better get a serious apology, plenteous thanks, and about 50 mil in free legal work. or something.

These assholes believe that the entire world will go on as it, completely unchanged except for this one thing.
a level of self-awareness that can be measured only in negative numbers leading to delusions of invincibility
Random thought on a rainy Monday.
Does Eloon even drive one of his own nasty SwastitruKKKs? I'm betting he gets chauffeured around in a heavily hardened Gestapomobile.

Even the nasty note is unwarranted. Individual Tesla owners are innocent victims of Elon's callous stupidity

Yeah I know Tesla sucks and I’m glad folks are protesting. Now do the fascist government.
Done, this morning, and will do it again.
Turdwagon.
