The affected officers will soon see the adjusted cost of the chemicals they were breathing deducted from their pay. Of course they will get a 10% law enforcement discount. Meanwhile, a new Texas state law will give chemical plants an automatic property tax credit for each ton discharged into the atmosphere. After all, it is lost property, right?

well, the state assumed that a new board would read through all the fine print INCLUDING the new law about coordinating dam releases. Rep. Huberty is fucking PISSED. he wants heads on pikes. I know he's a Republican, but he opposes things like school vouchers and bathroom bills, so he's alright. he also totally wins the Colonel Sanders lookalike contest every Friday during the regular session.
