If people like “Students For Life” piss you off as much as they piss me off, I suggest joining (or starting, if there’s not one) your local Planned Parenthood clinic defenders group, where you can verbally abuse the little fuckers to your heart’s content. Let’s see how YOU like having some stranger harassing you in the street, Christ-boy!
Check out the Kansas City Clarity YouTube/TikTok channel to see how we operate. It’s immensely satisfying to give these bastards a dose of their own medicine, and a great stress reliever.
I would have no argument against the theory that Satan wants more and more people born in order for them to go to hell and increase his kingdom. But that theory appears to presuppose the premise that the humans who are the loudest about telling other people they are going to hell are themselves the ones most likely to end up there.
After 14 years of Roman Catholic education, I left Christianity behind over 55 years ago. Back then, I figured "live and let live". After all those years, I've now come to detest Christianity. It means any damned fool thing its proponents want it to mean: misogyny, holy warfare, narcissism, genocide. All the evila of human culture can be justified by one version or another of Christianity.
I graduated from high school in 1964. I think we were better back then. Here's an obituary notice (from 2004) for our senior year class president. Jim Elliott was a terrific fellow.
"now he wants to go rooting around in the sewage in hopes of proving that birth control is poisoning the water supply"
I'm so happy that Bryan Hughes (R-Asshole) is watching out for the unsuspecting people living in Texas. Our drinking water is slowly killing us all; there's too much shit in it to be healthy. The water contains minute traces of birth control meds, and that is a definite threat to the preborn. It also has other drugs and microplastics floating around. Plus, there is that nasty additive that helps prevent tooth decay: FLOURIDE, which RFK Jr (bless his heart), drawing on his extensive medical/scientific background, has categorically declared a major health hazard.

"“This is not because the environment was my first weapon of choice — it’s because it’s the one we have now,” Kristi Hamrick, the vice president of Students for Life of America"
* Only Right wingnuts would weaponize something that they don't believe in or is of minimal concern to them. As evidence I offer: American jurisprudence and the DOJ, the Constitution, basic human rights, easy voter registration, and immigration (plus so much more).
* "Students for Life" is just another ironically named RINO organization. I'll bet that a majority of these fine folk don't give a rat's ass about the quality of life -- or lack thereof -- that the newborn and their family will experience.
* Ms Hamrick was/is affiliated with the Family Research Council (another ironic name):
* Students for Life seems to be both a grassroots and astroturf group. I'm basing this on the ages of their leadership:
> "Richard Crum is the chair of the SFLA Board and an experienced payments, financial services and B2B SaaS executive with over 30 years of professional experience. Richard has been a member of the Board since 2017. [30 years experience and about eight years on the board makes me think he's not a student.]
Karen Frigon.... She is Chief Operating Officer of Taylor Frigon Capital Managment, LLC, which is an investment management firm founded by her husband, Gerry Frigon, in 2007. Ms. Frigon has three grown children [Her husband started his business ~18 years ago and she has three grown childen, so likely not a student]
Kristan Hawkins ... was recruited in 2006 to launch Students for Life of America’s full-time operation. [Reqruited 19 years ago so likely not a student]
Brendan O’Morchoe is the former Vice President of Strategy for Students for Life of America and worked for Students for Life for more than six years before joining the Students for Life Action board as the organization’s treasurer. [Six years plus his time on the board, and having the responsibility of being Treasurer so likely not a student]
Danielle Huntley Webb, Esq. is an immigration attorney representing individual and corporate clients from around the world. [A practicing lawyer with clients from around the world so likely not a student]
> "Kristi Hamrick ... graduating from Anderson University ... Pulliam Fellowship after graduation. She has a degree in Mass Communications & Journalism with a Cognate in Political Science.
Worried about hormones affecting pregnant women is a stupid argument since they are testing WASTE WATER. Not drinking water. And you cannot have it both ways. IF they’re truly concerned about the environment then they should do more efforts to address extreme heat with overwhelming greenhouse gases. IF you’re truly concerned about keeping children safe, then stop allowing them to be shot in classrooms.
Will no one think of the frogs we're turning gay???
(and to be fucking serious for a moment, yes we are pumping tons and tons of crap into the water supply. Rep Huges would so well to examine all the water supply downstream of the earlrefineries in Tex-ass, and around every fracking field on the planet. But sadly that won't let him put his thumb on women the way he wants to because ehe's got a microscopic innie penis.
I spent much of 24 years in the USAF avoiding assignments anywhere south of the Mason-Dixon Line, and specifically Texas. OK, DC as well, but that’s just because I don’t care for commuting 90 minutes each way every day. Every missed promotion opportunity was totally worth it.
I can't tell if this bill is a floater or a sinker.

It is every bit that bad and then some. But pretending otherwise is the state pastime.
They forget that the unabomber was an extreme environmentalist. And to be honest i think Luigi Mangione may be too.

I remember when Florida was cool, Texas was semi-cool and California was semi-affordable.
I'm old.
I remember when California was actually cheap, outside of the big cities. Small towns got big, cities got huge, since moving north from LA.
I read elsewhere that people in CA pay a convenience fee to not live in FL, TX.
Too bad, probably the only state I could be happy in these days.
Oh well, viva mexico.

If they come for menopausal women's HRT (which is all of these hormones), the state of Texas will be burned to the ground.
Paraphrasing the article - *90% of the estrogen [ in the water ] comes from animal manure,* well let me crack open The Enchanted Broccoli Forest now.

Again, it would be such Nice Times if a story started with “Texas Legislator” but didn’t end with fuckery.
Oh you sweet summer child…
I guess no one told them the EPA under Lumpy is now nothing more than a Post Office box and a landline connected to a broken answering machine.
