Nice catch. I had long heard the myth, but not the correction, so thanks for that.

So many greatest hits in the: "Trump told Me To" as a Get Out of Jail Free card.

See Also: "I didn't want to go in, but the crowd forced me along.""The police waived us in, so I thought it was okay."

We hear it again and again, against damning proof of violence:

"It was peaceful.""I was just looking around."

"I was defending myself: the cops attacked me, and a damn good thing I had that can of mace/metal pole/shield I found on the ground handy."

"I was helping. They police even thanked me."

My favourite refrain: "I've done nothing wrong. I was saving our country."

The big tell? Virtually no one except a small handful has turned themselves in.

The bestest way to solve a problem is first blame anyone who may be able to help. </sarcasm_powerful>

Maybe instead pass a law that all wind power generators need to be winterized like they are in the great white north? I hear winter is coming.

And assign that "ancillary services and replacement" cost of the trip to Ted "asshole" Cruz!

Actually, I doubt it. SB 3 was just for public consumption. Now they will start writing the real legislation small print providing loopholes for the O&G companies to get out of it.
